Honda Civic Hybrid - Now at Affordable price

Honda Civic - Everyone's choice, from youngsters to aged ones. And Hybrid is perfect add-on to it & now reduction in its price is like "Sone pe Suhaaga". Yes, its true. Government has reduced taxes by around 60% on Hybrid technology and this has resulted in reduction of whopping 8 Lacs from Civic Hybrid's price tag, resulting its price to be around 13.25 Lacs(Ex-showroom,Delhi). With this good news, there is a bad news also i.e. Honda has already booked cars fir this reduced price till 31st March 2009 and is not offering more bookings for now. Really sad news. Honda shouldn't do like that.

At the heart of this car lies a 1.3-litre i-VTEC-enabled 94bhp four-cylinder engine. It uses a relatively simple Single Over Head Camshaft (SOHC) that opens and closes eight valves, and has two spark plugs per cylinder. It is supplemented by a system that Honda calls the Integrated Motor Assist (IMA). It is a 20bhp ultra-thin brushless DC motor sandwiched between the petrol engine's flywheel and the Continuously Variable Trasmission (CVT).
Apart from providing motive power, the IMA also acts as a generator that charges the battery when you lift off the throttle, when you brake and at other times in driving cycle. An Intelligent Power Unit (IPU) stores electric power in a rather compact Nickel Metal Hydride battery pack that is mounted behind the rear seats and control the flow of electricity to and from the elcetric motor.

Left of the tachometer, is a set of gauges that tell you how much charge is left in the battery, the levels of assist from the electric motor and the amount of power you are regenerating. Engine starts with a barely noticeable shudder, and quickly settles into a very quiet, Honda-like idle.

The electric motor provides maximum torque from zero rpm & the throttle response is almost instant. It takes 13.45 secs to get to 100kph from rest, but Civic's driveability is retained, which is proved while accelerating from 20-80kph, which is almost same as that of Civic AT.

On the inside, the changes are even fewer. Apart from the battery meter, this Civic gets steering-mounted audio controls and same safety features such as SRS Airbags, ABS etc.
Interior space remains identical to the regular Civic, but boot capacity is down from 405 to 294 litres, because battery packs sits behind the rear seats. Civic Hybrid's ride is slightly stiffer than that of a regular one.

Clutch Bags - A New Style Statement

A good handbag is more than a fashion accessory. It's a necessity. In fact, many women have multiple handbags for different occasions.

They come in different sizes and shapes and with different accessories. There are handbags for daytime, evening, different seasons and more. Each one makes unique statements about you, the owner.

If you really want to make a statement, designer clutch handbags are the way to go, definitely. They are very unique and usually have the designers name or logo on them.

Each one is a work of art that really makes a statement. Of course, there is some expense involved, but a designer clutch handbag is worth a little extra money. Any designer handbag is, of course, an excellent addition to your wardrobe.

There's something truly special about designer clutch handbags, though. They are very stylish and fashionable, after all. Designer clutch handbags are conveniently small. They often feature expensive fabric linings and handy kiss locks, which protect your items from falling out of an open handbag.

Many clutch handbags also feature a small, handy chain. After all, many people like to wear a handbag over their shoulder. If you don't want to, the chain can be tucked inside the handbag. It's always nice to be able to convert it to a shoulder bag, if you want to, though. Clutch handbags can be taken anywhere and worn in a number of ways.

You can do anything from carry them in your hand to tuck them under your arm to wear them over your shoulder with a strap. They're very versatile.

The only problem with such a handbag is that they are designed to be small, so they can't hold as much as a normal handbag would. Designer clutch handbags are only designed to carry essentials.

Make up, a mirror, some lipstick and whatever else you might need for an evening will fit in one, though. There are many things that designer clutch handbags can say about you.

Since they are so small, one statement they make is that you aren't afraid to keep life simple and only use what you need to.

You can also use them to express your feminine charm, though. Their small design and feminine beauty, after all, are their strong points. They also make the statement that you aren't afraid to buy quality items, even if there is some expense involved. So, is a designer clutch handbag right for you? That all depends on what you're looking for.

Bhai Sahib Bhai Guriqbal Singh Ji - A Great Soul

SATGURU PARSAD
Aapi leeye larr laaei dari darves se,
Tin dhan janedee maaou aae safal se.

Bhai Sahib Bhai Guriqbal Singh Ji's aagman was on April 22, 1959 A.D. in father Sr. Pishoura Singh Ji’s & Mata Atar Kaur Ji’s home in the holy city of Sri Amritsar Sahib founded by Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Ram Dass Ji . Bhai Sahib Ji’s parents loved Gurbani and the Guru’s home infinitely. Bhai Sahib was the youngest of all. He has two sister and one brother. Because of the religious atmosphere maintained by his parents, Bhai Sahib Ji attained the holy company of the Guru’s home. Bhai Sahib Ji would take the great services of concentrating of attention at approximately the midnight from Mata Atar Kaur Ji. She would meditate while sitting on a sack. She would keep the holy handbook in her hand throughout the day. Her blessings provided Bhai Sahib Ji the devotion of religious undertaking. That too is a sign of the Guru’s kindness that Bhai Sahib Ji’s both sisters perform Kirtan soullessly. Bhai Sahib Ji has been earning his lively hood till today by doing manual labour(Kirt of Making Copies). Bhai Sahib Ji has two daughters and a son. In 1983 A.D. Bhai Sahib Ji used to give the performance of Shabad-Kirtan going door to door or visiting homes of the Guru- Beloved along with his co-associates round about nine in number. As Bhai Sahib Ji’s nature is sweet, loving and Guru Sahib's Kirpa, the loving response from the Sangats went on increasing. This was Baba Kundan Singh Ji’s Nanaksar Kaleran, the complete Greatman, commandment to Bhai Sahib that every service of the Guru’s home should be exercised selflessly. So with the sublime impact of the blessings received from the Greatman to Bhai Sahib Ji accordingly the great utterances

The hospitals have been set up for the poor patients and the inns have been erected for the accommodation of the Sangats visiting Gurdwaras coming from abroad and also the Guru through his kindness too takes many other services. This is Bhai Sahib’s pure and eager desire for ever that his remaining part of life too should be spend in doing these services. This is his longing. “May Dhann Dhann Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji continually take this service from me selflessly! And, May I be destined to secure for myself the sound of God’s Nam with every beats of breath of mine!”He expresses his heartfelt gratitude again and again by recalling the meaningful holy lines uttered by the Tenth Master:

Mitsubishi's New Lancer - all set to Rock the Indian Roads in 2009

Got your Eyes peeped out like dials?

Yes, this is really coming to India early 2009 (probably in 1st half) .

Just have a feel of the great interiors . All Black with Rockford Music System as standard including Sub Woofer and Amplifier (Just like in Outlander).
Sounding toooo good na!!!!!!!

This all new model, which was launched internationally in 2007, will be landing on Indian Roads, with HM and Mitsubishi, both keen to give the all-new Lancer the best shot possible.

Mitsubishi has attempted to give the new car more of Evo look and the softer, less sporty image of previous Lancers .
Its styling is incredibly striking, like a great white shark on the hunt, the rakish profile of the nose
unlike anything currently available. The stretched-back headlamps and the inverse triangular grille look like they could swallow you whole . There is also an interesting styling cut that runs along the bonnet and a prominent crease along the flanks as well .
The car looks very sporty when viewed side-on.
The long, potent-looking bonnet is offset by a stubby boot, the roof fits very snugly and the skinning on the car is nice and tight as well .

The sporting saloon effect is complete as you walk around the rear of the car, the Alfa Romeo-like tail-lights are real stunners. Add a mild body, some skirts and a spoiler - there comes the Junior Evo X .
Under the skin too, the car is more performance-oriented. Mitsubishi has improved the stiffness of the chasis by about 50 percent and has beefed up the suspension mounting points as well. Its now the improved version of the sophisticated all-independent system that has been fitted on every Lancer, but now with improved chasis with refinement, cutting out excessive noise and vibration. Sound-proof bulkheads have been used to alleviate road and engine noise and there are now double seals on the doors for that perfectly-encapsulated feel .
The petrol motor that powers the new Lancer will be an all new 2.0-litre MIVEC motor. the intake and the exhaust are different and this motor uses Mitsubishi's much-lauded MIVEC variable timing timing valve system. the light-weight all- aluminium motor breathes through 16 valves and has double overhead camshafts.
The other , but more interesting engine is 2.0-litre diesel. Its a motor that has been sourced from Volkswagen for the Lancer, using the Pumpe Duse system, called Pump-Jet in India, which is similar to the one used on VW Passat sold in India. The power is impressive at 140bhp and you can expect to get a generous slug of torque from the motor once the turbo is upto speed. It seems to be like the best of both worlds .

Its price could be anywhere in between 11 to 13 Lakhs (Ex-showroom), but that's not too expensive for such a good looking Sporty Beast.
Toyota(Corolla) and Honda(Civic) ............Get yourself prepared to face a very strong competition because of looks with a great Diesel Engine as well.

This car will definitely return fame and fortune for HM and Mitsubishi in India.........Good Luck
